Crocodile Meat
When I was little, one of my favorite shows was called Inntimate Escapes. It was basically a travel show on the Discovery Channel, and in one of the episodes, I remember that the host ate crocodile meat and enjoyed it! I must have been 12, and despite growing up in the Philippines eating what other people might consider exotic food, I thought crocodile was pretty outrageous. That was the moment I thought to myself, “I would LOVE to be her someday! She gets to see so many places and eat weird food… all on TV? Wow!”
Here I am, years later, with no travel/food show of my own to speak of. But that’s okay. I’ve set that dream aside for awhile, but I’m hoping to get back on track. So, in my quest for a spot in the Travel Channel or the Food Network, I figured, a good start would be to talk about food and get my voice out there. That’s when I stumbled upon and signed up for Food Blogging with Steven Shaw….
